05/12 - Raven, Gods

1. RAVEN

This dream was set in a post-apocalyptic future. I played the role of a young woman with long, black hair. She was a rebel, arrested by the government and scheduled for execution. I managed to escape the holding facility, and fled to the woods. While I was escaping, they began the execution ceremony. The ceremony involved the use of a raven, who seemed to be connected to the protagonist. As I was moving through the woods, my body was no longer under my control. I began being pulled towards the raven, fighting my own body as I limped through the woods. After a little while, I passed out. The raven flew away from the execution, and they took it as a sign that I died in transit. When I awoke, I was still in the woods, in control of my body again. I realized I had been liberated, and sought shelter. After I arrived, I contacted close friends and family. There, it ended.

2. GODS

In this dream, I was a goddess, and the daughter of the primary deity, another goddess. I often walked among mortals in disguise. At one point in the dream, I was on a large boat with several other deities, including my mother. I went swimming in pursuit of another boat nearby. At sea, I became aware of a storm brewing back on the first boat. I quickly returned to find the mother god dying. She could no longer retain a humanoid form. After a short time, she passed away. With her death, the power of the gods also expired, leaving the world devoid of divinity. The ex-goddess watched humanity continue, wondering what effect it would have on the world and if anyone even knew that their god had died.

02/16/2012 - The Superhuman

This was a dream mostly viewed from third person perspective with some degree of control over the 'main character'.

A young woman was walking through a large department store, unaware of where she was or where she was going. Her memory was blank, like an amnesiac. Or perhaps she never had a memory to begin with. She glanced around and walked towards the front of the store. Vaguely, she recalled a song from her memory, singing it to herself as she walked to the exit. From a distance, a man watched her, following her through the building, repeating the same song to himself. As she made her way to the exit, three people closed in on her, grabbing her and escaping with her captive.

She was brought to a cave-like room in a hidden facility. The cave was partially filled with water, while the other half of it was above the water. A partial, natural stone wall separated the two parts of the cave. Her captors were two men (one of them was the same man who followed her before, we'll call him Man A) and a woman. They talked about her a bit, saying that she was some sort of super-human, near immortality. The woman suggested trying experiments on her that would kill the average human, such as suffocation.

Meanwhile, the protagonist looked around, trying to find some sort of escape. Man A told her there was no way out. The group of captors started to argue, and the protagonist wandered over to the pool of water. She entered the water quietly, swimming to the back wall. Resolving to try to drown herself, she swam to the bottom of the pool, trying to anchor herself down with her legs. She opened her mouth and inhaled the water, though it felt much like breathing air. Slowly, it affected her as she continued to inhale. Suddenly, two of her captors dived into the pool of water. Man A reached her first, grabbing her and giving her air, then bringing her back up to the surface.

The dream ended there.

08/07/10 - Immortals

PART 1 - Lab.

I am working in a large room at a building. There has been a breach. Poisonous gases are leaking out. We try to stop it. We fail.

PART 2 - Exile.

I have a friend who is like a brother to me. He is named Akihiko, drawn from my memories of Persona 3. We live in a city that becomes plagued by a poison that sticks like fallout. We are immune to the poison. We leave, and attend school nearby. Later, we return to the dead city, suspended in time and devoid of life. There are no people, but there are cars trafficking the streets. We're there for a moment, reflecting. I mention that we are immortal, "for the most part". It seems that instantly fatal injuries can kill us, and keep us dead.
Moments later, someone is breaking through the barricades to the city. We head to one of the barricades to escape. As I leave, Akihiko hesitates. He stays behind, ignoring me. I have to leave, as a man closes in on Akihiko. As I leave, I see him taken outside and executed.
I return to the school, seeking the help of a relative who works there. She and her students are leaving on a class trip. Still sobbing from Akihiko's death, one of the students laughs at his death. I come with her, asking her if she knows somewhere I can go, having nothing and no one else to turn to. She refuses me, initially, but points me in the direction of a trustworthy friend, and drops me off at her work building.

Apartments

Haven't posted here in a while, huh?

I had a very cute dream today... that actually had a pretty solid plot, for a dream. I'll put brackets in when I can't remember parts of the dream. Here's what happened:

Starts off in an apartment building. One man leaves his apartment, and another, taller man, whose room is across the hall, comes out and begins to make fun of the first man. The first man tells him to leave him alone, and proceeds to leave.

[missing part]

The tall man, who has made fun of the first man for a while, is now a bit nicer to him. The first man has a girlfriend. However, the first man also thinks he might like the tall man, which bothers him. Similarly, the tall man knows he likes the first man, but refuses to admit it to himself.

[missing part]

The first man finds out that the tall man is going to get kicked out of his apartment. [I decided it's because he can't pay his rent.] The first man awkwardly offers the tall man to share his apartment. He accepts.

[missing part]

The first man, his girlfriend, and the tall man are all hanging out. Someone implies that the first man and tall man are gay, which bothers them a lot.

AND THAT'S ALL I REMEMBER. I hope that didn't confuse the hell out of you.

Dream Chronicle 6/20 to 6/22/09

6/20:
I died. ):

6/21:
I have some tall, dark-skinned, pretty awesome semi-girlfriend or something. And I'm a short dude/chick/once-again-my-dream-cannot-decide. We are at a carnival or something. Her father is apparently a cop. She almost drowns. TIME WARP TO THE FUTURE; she is depressed and we have separated and people are like, "WE MUST GET THEM BACK TOGETHER" because apparently my dreamfriends care.

6/22:
Again, I am male. Playing a small concert with my band. I freak out on stage because I think I'm terrible and untalented and run away to my girlfriend's house, where I pretend nothing happened. We and friends have dinner and comic relief ensues. Some woman nicknamed Mama does crazy things.

Inbetween, boring reality dreams. And my brother asking me to make a very large box of macaroni. Maybe I should make some macaroni later.

Dream Chronicle 5/16/09

1. Dodger submits a lot of art to DA. Hurray!

2. "I was in some big store, some sort of warehouse-like Wal-Mart type store, and lo and behold, I see print copies of Felicity #2 for sale. I was all, "Whaaaaaat?! I must get this!" In my dream, our Mr. TWULF here was making printed issues of #2 to surprise people with. I run around looking for #1 to find out that it sadly has not been printed. But! Then I run into some guy who is making Felicity figurines and stuff. He's made a 99! 99 figurine and is the process of making Vrooom! Felicity itself. I am given prototypes, which I then mail to TWULF. END OF DREAM." - as posted on Felicity forums.

3. I start off as a male. I am with a few other people, mostly other males, and one girl, who I apparently am fond of. I am quiet, so she does not have much interest in me. We all go home, and I am the last to be dropped off by her. The way she is talking makes me aware that I will not have a chance with her. I have little hope. I give up, telling myself I will settle for someone else, using a friend as some sort of confused rebound, talking with him and trying to make myself feel better. I become female, somewhere along the line. I rollerskate with my friend and reminisce. We go to the shop next to the skate park. END.
